As one of the few research groups worldwide who are actively investigating the accuracy and resolution of swath sonar systems, we continuously have the opportunity to assess the capability of new systems that come on the market. Originally this was achieved through the field demonstrations that took place along with the early Multibeam Courses.

We continue to have the opportunity to assess either new systems or significant system upgrades. Increasingly this is happening as part of contract sea trails. Wherever possible we strongly encourage the client to allow the trial results to be made available to other potential users of the systems.
