Me

I am Pim Kuus, currently graduate student at the Ocean Mapping Group UNB. In 2005 I graduated in hydrography at Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentz, on the isle Terschelling, the Netherlands. Prior to my stay at UNB I have worked with Van Oord NV dredging and offshore, Fugro Survey BV and Rijkswaterstaat AGI. During these periods I gained proficiency with processing and acquisition software such as QINSy, PDS1000 and Starfix, as well as CAD programs Terramodel and AutoCAD.
I wrote my final bachelors thesis at Rijkswaterstaat on dredging mismatches between contractor and client which was awarded as best thesis by the Educational Fund of the Hydrographic Society Benelux. A English summary can be downloaded here.
