Sidescan Window

Sidescan window
The sidescan window displays the multibeam backscatter in conjunction with the bathymetry.  The backscatter displayed in this window is of much higher quality than the mean-averaged backscatter displayed in the backscatter sub-window of the main Swathed window and can thus be used to confirm/deny the existence of acoustic targets with much more certainty than with the main Swathed window alone.
